Announcement! On December 19, December 22, 1943, during the attacks on the Ukrainian villages of Perosołowice, Modryń and Dąbrowa, a total of 36 The Ukrainians were murdered. The above–mentioned acts of violence, which were made despite repeated public warnings, are capable of significantly violating the German work of reconstruction in the General Government. Therefore, the convicts mentioned in my announcements of November 9, 1943. under the number 11–30, and on December 21, 1943 under the number 6–15, and they were presented for pardon, on January 6, 1944. in Hrubieszów publicly shot. For other activities to the detriment of the German reconstruction in the General Government, they were by the Summary Court of the Commanders of the Security Police and SD for the Lublin district, pursuant to par. 1 and 2 of the Ordinance of October 2, 1943 (Journal of Ordinances for Gen. Governorate No. 82/43) the following persons:  […] ”. The hostages who were publicly shot also included the inhabitants of Kryłów and the nearby towns: Bogucki Bronisław, s/o Michał and Zofia née Tyrch, 25 born. in Kiev, residing in in Kryłów, a farmer, a BCH soldier from the „Ryś” battalion, arrested in November 1943 by the Ukrainian police. Dąbrowski Kazimierz, s/o Kazimierz and Józefa née Janusz, aged 33, born on and orders in Kryłów, bricklayer, soldier of BCH „Rysia”, arrested on October 30 by the Ukrainian police. Furmańczuk Jan, s/o Tomasz and Franciszka née Łoza, age 28, b. in the village of Kotlice, residing in the Kryłów colony, a soldier of BCH „Rysia”, arrested in November 1943 by the Ukrainian police. Furmańczuk Tomasz, s/o Michał, aged 49, b. In the village of Kotlice, residing in in the Kryłów colony, soldier of BCH „Rysia”, arrested in November 1943 by the Ukrainian police. The UPA attacked the car of the county Starosty in Hrubieszów and murdered 18 civilian Poles and 3 UB functionaries. „On September 1, 1945 a UPA unit attacked a truck of the County Office on the way to Hrubieszów, the victims had their arms and legs broken before the murder. August (?) 1946, [typescript] — Fragments of the protocol of interrogating a witness to the UB murder on Ilari Konaszewski from Uhrynów, drawn up by an unknown employee of the 'Liman' district of District III of the Zakerzonya Region:
And so on August 21, 1946 at 4 o'clock. 100 members of the KBW (Internal Security Corps) came to the village of Uhrynów for a terrorist operation  […] Ilarij Konaszewski, 22, the brother of the murdered [former partisan Ivan Konaszewski — BH], was arrested  […] All arrested were sent to Waręż. On the way, they beat everyone with butts, beech trees and kicked them. From Waręż by car, they were taken to Hrubieszów and handed over to the UBP. In Hrubieszów, the UBP murdered Iłarij Konaszewski, 22 years old. A witness (one of the above–mentioned detainees who will return from prison) testified that Ilarija [the security officer] had beaten with iron bars and thus terminated the life of the oldest of the Konaszewski brothers”.
