In the course of the ongoing investigation it was established that in the period 1939‑1947 in the village of Horoszczyce numerous murders of the Polish population were committed by Ukrainian nationalists, aimed at Polish civilians. physical extermination of the Polish population living in this area”.
S. Jastrzębski mentions only the murder of 4 Poles carried out by the UPA on February 17, 1944 with the participation of the Ukrainian police. Sz. Siekierka does not mention this village.
