On November 23, a group of about 100 people armed with firearms attacked the farm in Hordynia and, after terrorizing the inhabitants of the farm, robbed them completely and kidnapped four of them: Stefan Beck, the farm manager, aged 53; Zofia Beck, his wife, 43; Alina Beck, their daughter, 19; Władysław Kozaczyński, the farm guard, aged 25. The next day, the bodies of the abductees were found in the forest.
