Hermanówka
At Easter that year, twenty boys went to Hrymanówka for resurrection. Neither of them came back. We started looking for them. It soon turned out that they were all murdered in a cruel way. The oldest of them only had his head turned to the other side. However, the Ukrainians tormented the younger ones in a more sophisticated way. Their tongues were cut off, their genitals were skinned. We, the young, were very shocked by it. We gathered all the murdered to Przebraż and placed their massacred bodies in front of the school so that everyone could see what the Ukrainians are capable of.

As a result of the Ukrainians' denunciation that there were Soviet partisans in one of the abandoned houses, a horse unit of the Ukrainian Sicherheitsdienst with a few Gestapo officers pacified the village, murdering 47 Poles, 3 Russians and 2 Jews.
