Hafuszczyńce was a Polish village, Ukrainian households were counted 7. There was an excellent Ukrainian intelligence service. There were attempts to attack the countryside, but to no avail. Due to the occasional attacks on the Polish population, especially during field work or travels, the number of victims reached the figure of about 50 killed Poles.
