general info
Gajowskie
The Banderites murdered two brothers from a Polish–Ukrainian family. „Accidents of this type were not uncommon. For example, I am presenting an event that took place in the fall of 1944 in the village of Gajowskie, not far from the now defunct Adama village, in a mixed Stopnicki family. He was Ukrainian, his wife was Polish, they had three children; two sons and a younger daughter. The sons joined the UPA, where they received an order to murder their mother, a Polish woman. They refused and for this, on the orders of their superiors, were murdered. The parents, under penalty of death, were not allowed to participate in their sons' funeral services. Their daughter Stefania, who married a Ukrainian and considers herself a Ukrainian, now becomes pale when asked about the fate of her brothers. After a moment of silence, she replies that she was a child then and cannot say much. She only knows that near Brody her brothers were handed over by the Poles to the Bolsheviks who murdered them there. The crimes committed by people under the sign of the OUN–UPA” are still hidden in such a perfidious way.
