The Banderites kidnapped and murdered two Poles: engineer Władysław Wojnarowski and Dominik Biskowski, a student at the Jan Kazimierz University in Lviv. „After the father's abduction, on February 28, 1944, the Ukrainian torturers imprisoned my father in a building near the forest belonging to the village of Chłoptycze, and there they tortured him for several days. First they cut out his tongue, then they put it in a wooden barrel with nails inside it, and from time to time they rolled the barrel, causing him terrible pain. After two days, the torturers cut the barrel with the body of the father, and then took the corpse out and threw it into the unused well”.
