Dobrzanka
Excerpt from the situational report of the political clerk of the OUN 'Chłodny Jar' district, Petr Kawuzy 'Taras', on the murder by Polish Army soldiers on a Ukrainian from Dobrzanka:
„On January 17, 1946, at midnight, the company of the Polish Army entered the village of Dobrzanka after a partial encirclement. It was led by militia MO and arrested on January 14, Ivan Soroka, Woło [dimyr] Soroka and Vasyl Władyczak. In the village, they entered the houses indicated by those arrested and arrested Petr Kaczmarski for the fact that their daughter was with the Bandera followers and Osyp Pipczyński for the fact that his son was in the UPA unit […] At 2 o'clock the Polish Army left the village, taking with it of these two farmers […] They left in the direction of Bircza […] Władyczak left with his hands broken. After a few days, they also fired Kaczmarski, who was asked about grain warehouses. Pipczyński was shot the same night”.
