Dobromirka

In the spring of 1944, the UPA murdered 25 people, they were: Dzikowski N., his wife, Knysiewicz Maria, Krawczuk N., his wife and daughter, Myślenicki N., his wife and three children, Rodziewicz N., his wife and daughter, two refugees from Volhynia (parent with child) and 9 people with unknown surnames.

The Banderites ordered Krawczuk to kill his Polish wife and daughter. Refused. He must have watched as his wife and child were murdered. They killed him last. It turned out that the daughter was alive. Their Ukrainian neighbor, risking his life, took her to Tarnopol. He also informed the Bogunowicz family living in that city. Unfortunately, she died of her injuries. I found myself on the list of The Ukrainians – as they call it – murdered by Poles. On their list, as our victim is the KRAWCZUK FAMILY from Dobromirka. This is how they record their own crimes as ours.

H. Komański et Sz. Siekierka  […] report that in the spring of 1944 the Bandera followers, pretending to be Soviet soldiers, murdered 25 Poles, including: „Krawczuk., Parents and daughter, Polish–Ukrainian family”.

Dobromirka

In the village of Dobromirka, county Zborów Bandera murdered 27 Poles: „It was like this – on October 7, a band from Volhynia came to the village of Dobromirka. It was headed by a bandit with the pseudonym «Mech». Apart from «Mech» gang, at the same time [in the village] was the gang of «Askold». The composition of this gang is given above. That day, early in the morning, OUN member Bic Iwan – [clerk for economic affairs] of the Dobromirka village told me that I was to do the job of fighting and eliminating Poles from this village. On his recommendation, as a member of the OUN and a devoted nationalist, I took my rifle, which I had owned since 1943, and started the «job». They put at my disposal 4 people from the «Mech» gang and I went with them for the Polish families, whom I brought to be shot  […] I brought Krawczuk Dymitr, his wife Krawczuk Sabina, daughter Stefania, s/o Włodzimierz and another girl from Lisieczyniec, who stayed with them, I do not know her name and surname; Rudziela adama, Rudziel anna, Rudziel Hela, Dzinowski adam and his wife Dzinowska Praskowia. In total, I brought 10 people, that is, whole 3 families. I took them to Drobnicki's barn. Then from the barn they were taken to some basement and all of them were shot with a machine gun. Then a grenade was thrown at them  […] The remaining 17 people were brought by Moroz Myrosław and Zajac Myrosław. The following people from our village took part in the shooting: Kocewał Stepan, Hłowan Roman, Ołąnyk Wołodymyr, Wojzitskyj Pawło, Zajac Myrosław and Moroz Myrosław. I do not know the others, because they were from a foreign gang. When all 27 people were herded to the basement, all of them were shot there with a machine gun”. .
