The Ukrainians murdered 43 Poles; the bodies of the victims were found in pieces in various places; Józef Figa, 20, had torn stripes of his skin.

During this attack, a forest worker, Karl Figa, 55, was shot dead by a UPA militia, while his wife Jadwiga, 50, and daughter Aniela, 25, were stabbed with bayonets.
