The army even fired at bushes as soon as something was moving. They killed a woman, the first husband was probably called Kril, and the second was Mordechai. His stomach was seriously injured, he got inflammation and he died»”.

Excerpt from the report of the interrogation of Bronisław Chodań from Czerc on May 29, 1946 by an employee of the SB‑OUN about the murder of bandits–Poles from Czery on 2 Ukrainians in this village:
„On June 2, 1945, my brother with a group of 15 Poles attacked Skibiak Josyf and his wife, working in the fields. Together with the cart and the horse, they took them to the forest. They shot Skibiak and his wife, and took the horses with the cart and sold them. Skibiak was shot by Edward Rodziński. He shot him 5 shots in the head with a pistol, my brother shot his wife”.

— «Yes, they were both called Skibiak, but not during the battle, during this robbery, and when they were hoeing potatoes. Not far from this forester's lodge».
— «How did it come about?»
— «They came out of the forest. They took them and the horse. They were probably battered and dragged to the road with their horses. It was in the fall, I think in 1946»”.
