The Banderites murdered 26 Poles. „List of murdered inhabitants of Nyrków – the hamlet of Czahor, during the attack of the UPA gang on November 2, 1944 (after the attack on the hamlet of Czahor, there were no bodies: Józefa Korczak, Maria Wróblewska, Stanisława Zabłocka and Jadwiga Zabłocka; they were kidnapped by the UPA;): 1. Helena Bardecka, age 15; 2. Iza Bardecka, age 3; 3. Zofia Bardecka, 40; 4. Aniela Bilińska aged 65; 5. Rudolfina Bilińska, 30; 6. Eugeniusz Biliński, age 3; 7. Józef Juracic, 70's; 8. When the families fleeing for the night returned to Nyrków in the morning, the Bandera followers who were waiting in the cemetery shot at them. This is how they killed, among others the wife of our regular coachman, Mrs. Kurhaniewicz, with her child.

At that time, i.e. before the attack on Czerwonogród (i.e. February 2, 1945 – comment by: Stanislaus Żurek), a gang called „gulganes” attacked a Polish colony near Czahor, which consisted of four farms: Kawecki, Zabłocki, Motyczka, Grabowiecki. They were all murdered, only Mr. Grabowiecki managed to escape, who was already in Czerwonogród with this terrible news at 10 p.m.
