The Banderites dressed in German uniforms murdered 16 Poles and 1 Ukrainian, allegedly recruiting them to defend themselves against the UPA attack. „The Banderites kidnapped a group of young Poles from the village, tied them with ropes behind the village and led them in an unknown direction. The exact number has not been established. They were probably murdered in the basement of the Greek–executioner presbytery in Bazaar. They died then, among others Korsan Jan, Mazur Adam i Alojzy, Myszograj Adolf i Jarosław, Papiernik Stanisław, Wańkowski Franciszek, Wołoszyn Stanisław, Zjawin Antoni, Kazimierz and Stanisław”.
