Chobułtowa

[The Ukrainians] murdered an undefined number of Poles, only a family of three is known by name. „A few days after the pogrom, around July 15, they brought the whole family from Chobułtowa to the city. The bodies of these 7 people I saw personally, they were almost inhumanly massacred, placed in the square near the train station, still attracted more curious people. My attention was immediately drawn to the terrible suffering that was inflicted on these people: their noses were cut off, their eyes gouged out, and their eye sockets were stuffed with hay and straw. The women had severed breasts and severed legs. It made an indelible impression on me, I felt a great, searing pain, for several days I even had trouble eating”.
