The UPA murdered several Polish families, 11 victims are known by name, including a 6‑year‑old family named Demuś with 4 children: 7‑year‑old Janina chopped the head off a stump with an ax, 11‑year‑old Witold and 13‑year‑old Stanisław hacked with axes, a 16‑year‑old Kazimierz was beaten with a stake and their mother was stabbed with a bayonet.
