The UPAs have kidnapped 9 Poles who have gone missing without a trace, including 4 women and two 18‑year‑old boys. „I saw my mother, brother and uncle Marian, 58, his wife Anna, 54, and Gaweł Bronisława, 39, and Pitura Maria, 42,” on a cart.

In 1976, during a visit to his village in Ukraine, one of the Ukrainians, the husband of a Polish woman, told her: „And they wrenched the tongue of” out of your mother alive, showing how it was supposed to look like. At that moment I was already very scared and I said to him: „Why are you telling me this, it was a long time ago, I didn't come to” for that. Then he said at the end: „And your Jozek was nailed to the ground with a stake, through the belly of”.
