On Christmas day, the Bandera followers murdered 8 Poles: „1. Radecki Marcin, about 50 years old, murdered by bruising on Christmas 1943 at the Węgrzynowski family. 2. Radecki Władysław approx. 16 years old, s/o Marcin. 3. Sikora (husband), approx. 50 years old, murdered on Bendas on December 26, 1943. 4. Sikora (wife), approx. 50 years old. 5. Szeremeta Józefa, about 40 years old from Niemiaczy, d/o Karol Nałecki. Beaten and very tired, murdered in Bendas in the Węgrzynowski house on Christmas 1943. 6. Dominmik, a Hungarian about 55 years old, s/o Maria, the whole family murdered in Bendas on Christmas day 1943. 7. Maria Węgrzynowska, 15 years old, d/o Dominik and Maria. 8. Maria Węgrzynowska approx. 50 years old, wife of Dominik”.

H. Komański et Sz. Siekierka […] do not mention the murdered Józefa Szeremeta, but does mention Maria Żurowska / Żurkowska, aged around 55, murdered on that day, and Tomasz Czapij, aged 56.
