May (?) 1946, [typescript] — Fragment of a report by Mykhail Borys 'Żan', a political clerk of the II region in the Zakerzońskie District II, about the murders of Ukrainians in Bruśno Stary […] :
„March 2, 1945. WP (assault) and MO from Horyniec and Brusno Nowe in the amount of about 200 people carried out a terrorist action in the countryside. During the action, men were murdered on the spot with shots, women and children were tortured and robbed of everything that fell — especially Polish civilians from nearby villages, following the army to rob the population.
Among the murdered were:
Wełyczkowski Iwan — 31;
Wełyczkowski Wasyl — 12;
Has Stepan — 16;
Hrabeć Mykoła — 35;
Dudiak Iwan — 20;
Kuznewycz Iwan — 33;
Mychajlo — 41;
Chmil Wasyl — 31;
Chmil Hryhiorij — 32 […]
Total: 1 woman was murdered (by the Polish Army), 1 child under 12 (by the Polish Army and MO), 15 men (3 by the Bolsheviks, 1 by the MO, 11 by the Polish Army and MO)”.

October 25, 1945, typescript — Fragment of the communiqué of the National Leadership of the Zakerzonya Region from August–September 1945:
„On September 20, the Polish army burned 64 Ukrainian farms in the village of Stare Brusno, and 23 in the village of Nowe Brusno. At the same time, they tormented those people who did not escape, chased the girls into the river and forced them to drink water, beat them, murdered two men, and one woman suffocated”.
