Broszniów-Osada

The Banderites kidnapped the forestry workers returning from the council from the Forest District in Dolina from the forest railway to the forest and no trace of them was found. Edward Orłowski reports that in the village of Broszniów–Osada near Dolina, Dolina On October 7, 1943, the UPA carried out a mass murder of foresters returning from clearance in Dolina. Died: Białokryta Maria, telephone operator of the forest district office; Duda Jan gamowy; Dzidek Władysław (payer) a woodworker; Furschmidt Konrad b. 1915 ranger; Hłuszko Hryń gamekeeper; Pichor Franciszek the forester; Prokopiw Antoni the forester; Schnorich Karol works. law firm. Forest inspectorates; Semkulewicz Jerzy gamekeeper; Skibicz Włodzimierz (payer) wood worker; Soees Adolf the gamekeeper; Strzelecki Erazm forester (employed at NP Jasień); Turschmidt Konrad b. 1915 ranger; Tysiak Mikołaj the gamekeeper; Weiss Marian secretary of the forest inspectorate; Wowkonowicz Kazimiera office worker, office assistance; Franciszek the gamekeeper from Żuchowski; Żurakowski Michał is a forest apprentice.

Meanwhile, Szczepan Siekierka, Henryk Komański and Eugeniusz Różański in the study „Genocide perpetrated by Ukrainian nationalists on Poles in the Stanisławów voivodeship” (p. 17), these persons place among the named 18 murdered forestry workers under the date „October 1943”. They were abducted by the Banderites from the forest railway and no trace of them was found.
