The Banderites with local Ukrainians, going from house to house, murdered Poles with axes, knives and bayonets so as not to wake others up with their arrows. 61 Poles and 1 Ukrainian woman died this way. Ksawery Wojtowicz with his wife and 6 children hammered with axes, 45‑year‑old Jan Smoliński had a stake in the ear. Another beaten one was thrown into a well; most of the victims were women, children and the elderly. W. Kubów reports that the UPA gang murdered 67 Poles. The following died: Baraniecka Aleksandra, 38, Karol 17, Danuta 9, Paulina 12, Władysław 11, Olga 30, Stefania 18, two 4–person Jakubiszyn families, Jakubiszyn Antoni 55, his wife Anna aged 50, son Kazimierz aged 14, daughter Aniela aged 12, Kosiorowska Anna and her three children, Kuchta Adam aged 40, Alicja aged 30, Kazimierz aged 12, Bronisława aged 30 Langer N 38 (Ukrainian), Mieńka N. 40.
