The Ukrainians murdered 56 people: 53 Poles, 2 The Ukrainians (a Polish husband and a Pole's wife) and a 15‑year‑old Ukrainian and Polish son who was impaled in a fence.

When, on the basis of a denunciation of Poles, the Germans killed Panas Wasyl of Bezbrudy, the Polish hamlet of Maruszka was destroyed and 8 men and 16 women were killed there.
