During the UPA raids on estates in the area of Horochów: Brany, Bużany, Dmitrówka, Haliczany, Kozłów, Łobaczówka, Nowosiółki Ruskie, Peremyl, Pieczychwosty, Rudka, Strzelcze, Wola, Zajęczyce, Zboryszów Stary they were plundered and burned and the Polish population was murdered, but in each case it was not established the number of victims, probably it ranged from a few to about a hundred Poles in each property.

Bażany
The UPA brought to the forest an unknown number of kidnapped Poles from nearby localities, whom „threw into a well after” research, and the fate of the local Poles is not known (several families lived here).
