On July 26 and 27, 1945, in the area of Stubienek and Barycz, a sub–unit of the 26th Infantry and MO officers fought again with the Bandera followers. During this clash, part of Stubienko (29 houses, 26 stables and 24 barns, and 66 horses, 7 cows, 8 pigs and 409 poultry) were burned and 2 Polish soldiers were injured. In the village of Barycz, 5 houses, 8 barns and 5 stables burned down. In addition, the soldiers took 9 horses, 3 cows, 4 pigs and 28 poultry. In this fight, Jerzy Mizgier, sister Wiktora, born in 1924, from 28pp57. One of the Banderites participating in this fight mentioned that two planes were to take part in the operation to secure the operation. Moreover, he claimed that on the Polish side 6 soldiers of the Polish Armed Forces and a certain number of Banderites and civilians were to be ordered. Łukasz Kuźmicz gives the names of the fallen, marking that all the soldiers had their heads cut off with an ax. Among those killed were: Zbigniew Cichoń, s. Izydora, born 6 September 1923; Klemens Korzeniowski, sister Marcelego, b. November 21, 1921; Senior Rifleman Mikołaj Nakwas, s. Łukasza born on 1913; w. Władysław Świerkowski, s. Andrzeja, b. 1921; width Feliks Szurawski, sister Jana, b. 1922 and Cpl. Stanisław Woszczyło, s. Jana, b. 1915 According to Edmunad Ginalski and Eugeniusz Wysokiński, the fight of the 26pp subunit with part of the „Kruk” sotniya in the area of Nienowice took place on July 20 and the commander of the 26th Infantry Division, Major Stefan Tielatnikow, was wounded as a result of a strong fire from the Banderites ambush, and Captain K.
