Barbarka
62 civilians were murdered in the German–Ukrainian pacification and 4 Home Army soldiers were killed in the fight. „An airplane was used which dropped phosphor plates, setting fire to more houses covered with straw thatched roofs, and armored cars arrived simultaneously from Miechów, Kraków and Wolbrom. The UPA also took part, and its members, going from Skała and the northern and eastern side towards the village, killed everyone they met along the way. Houses were on fire and two women were burned alive in one of them. Due to lack of ammunition, the partisans withdrew to the forest. As a result of these events, 4 partisans and 62 inhabitants of Barbarka and the” area were killed.
